e17 doesn't start localized

I've packaged e17 for tiny core linux but e17 doesn't start in my language (italian). tinycore packages (.tcz) are squashfs loop mounted in a dir called /tmp/tcloop and then linked form there to the file system. If I copy, instead of linking the files the problem disappear, also adding the /usr/local/share/locale dir in the advance configuration of e17 in the dir section works
