startup applications don't work

Hi I've packaged e17 beta3 for tinycorelinux. I placed some apps in autostart, but they don't start. If I exit from X and type startx they work

Check your login manager. Some Login managers incorrectly mess with environment variables, which can cause E's startup stuff to not work as it relies on some of those environment variables. In particular, lxdm is noturious for this

do you mean XDG autostart? if you do - then that has been explicitly decided not to be supported in e17 for various compatibility reasons.
