e can't handle italian keyboard

Description

I compiled e from svn rev 66252. I set my keyboard as italian but keyboard still work as american one. Every change through the configuration panel doesn't have effects.

Sorry, but can you elaborate a bit? There are no builtin ways to change keyboard layouts in E17 currently. You can use the new xkbswitch module in E-MODULES-EXTRA or the deprecated language module from OLD, but there are no builtin ways.

xkbswitch is now rolled into e17 itself. i've been testing and it works just fine. closing this.
