Configuration

Enlightenment is very configurable. Nearly everything about the appearance and behavior of the environment may be changed through the Settings Panel, which is handily available in the Main menu under Settings, and reachable by clicking any point on the desktop. Also available in the Settings menu are a few shortcuts to most common Setting Panel items.

Enlightenment configurations are stored in the ~/.e/e/config/ directory, which may be safely deleted to restore your installation to a default configuration profile.

The Look category provides straightforward "paintjob" type configurations.

Applications

Enlightenment follows the  freedesktop standard of using ./desktop files to control how programs are executed and presented.
