Mandriva-2008* uses "dbus" package from the core of "Mandriva-2009" distribution
openSUSE-10.3 uses "dbus" package from the core of "openSUSE-11.1" distribution
Mandriva-2009 hell of a lot of issues with compiller warnings/errors and as a result - minimum packages provided. help of the experienced Mandriva-2009 maintainer is needed and appreciated. Welcome to choose the alternate Mandriva-2009 repo to have a bit more precompiled packages.
openSUSE-all versions users may try the "unofficial" repo which doesn't support the "release bumps" (introduced recently for some reasons). The repo provides extended set of packages from E-svn.

Fedora-10 users reported some issues related to the upgrade of the old *exalt* packages. The errors reported by yum could look like this (during the upgrade of "e_modules" for example):
$ sudo yum install e_modules ERREUR de résolution de dépendance par rpm_check_debug : libexalt1 conflicts with exalt-20090427_r40415-5.1.i386 libexalt_dbus1 conflicts with exalt-20090427_r40415-5.1.i386 exalt_daemon conflicts with exalt-20090427_r40415-5.1.i386 Terminé !
However the new "exalt" package contain:
Provides: libexalt exalt-module exalt_daemon libexalt1 libexalt_dbus1 Obsoletes: libexalt exalt-module exalt_daemon libexalt1 libexalt_dbus1
and it seems that the error with a native yum could be addressed to the solvers or something related, because the similar case for openSUSE proceeded nicely.
I'd suggest to remove all your *exalt* packages before you're about to install/update "e_modules" from OBS E-repo for Fedora-10.
